The Evolution of Design

Collaboration and communication is a key to contributing to the science of nursing




Through the course of scholarly activities I had the fortunate opportunity to collaborate with several of my peers from across the country. It was a well rounded group of PhD and DNP students who achieved something we hadn't even dreamed of, learning the value of shared collaboration in advancing nursing science.


Innovative Intraprofessional Doctoral Education: Agile, Participatory, Action Research

We were fortunate enough to be under the tutelage of two very expert educators. They led the charge for documenting the learnings and inspired the team to contribute relevant feedback about their experience. From this a qualitative study was born and the abstract is soon to be published.


How Relevant is This?

The abstract was accepted for a podium presentation at the Association for Leadership Science in Nursing (ALSN) conference in November, North Carolina. Of course, honoring the current COVID crisis is paramount and we will have to accept the honor of presenting via Zoom rather than in person. None the less, an honor it is! This association has a great following of well-known nursing leaders from academia and practice. We will be presenting to them the action research findings: Innovative Intraprofessional Doctoral Education: Agile, Participatory, Action Research
